Here are 3 sermon series you should bookmark to watch later:
“When we compare our unfiltered lives to a world cropped and edited where everything is perfect, we’re left with thoughts of misery and frustration. The struggle to know who we are in the world without compromising who we are in Christ is a battle as old as mankind – but so is God’s answer for finding peace. In this series, we’ll discover how finding our identity in Christ can save us from the greatest obstacle standing in our way – us.”
“If you could ask God one thing, what would it be? Our questions reveal more about our faith than our curiosities. When Jesus asks the questions, He sheds light on who we really are and what we truly believe. Find out how His questions reveal our hearts in The Counselor.”
“Every battle begins with hunger. Whether it’s wealth, power or freedom, we’re all hungry for something. And it’s our hunger that drives us — it’s the light that gets us through and the whole point of why we fight. Right now, you’re in a battle — it could be a battle for your marriage, your children, your purity or your finances. Whatever it may be, you’ve got the hunger and now you’re standing in the battle and faced with a choice: run or stand and fight? What are you hungry for? Are you willing to fight for it?”

Lifechurch.tv is one of the most innovative churches in the world. They are the church that built and made the YouVersion Bible App available for free (more than 137 million people have downloaded it at this moment). One of the things I love about Lifechurch.tv is that they create and share all of the amazing tools and resources they use. They share them via a website called Open: A Digital Mission of Lifechurch.tv (make sure you check that site out for resources for Children’s Ministry, Student Ministry, Small Groups, Worship, Sermons and so on). You can find some of the places I’ve mentioned them in the past here.
In this post I want to point out three powerful tools they designed and have made available for other churches to use:
This free and customizable platform can help your church launch an online ministry with embedded video, live chat, social media connections, and more.
Better information helps you make better decisions. This free online tool helps you track data for your church, including attendance, salvations, baptisms, and more.
This performance review tool helps churches promote a staff-wide culture of continuous, collaborative growth.

Here are 3 sermon series I’ve been listening to lately that I think you would enjoy:
What if there was a way to keep all your New Year’s resolutions? What if you didn’t have to wave the white flag of surrender to the giants in your life? If you’re tired of losing the same battles over and over again, our series Sticks and Stones will teach you five secrets to make your resolutions more than words.
Major resolutions and huge goals. We want big change and we want it now. But maybe taking life in a new direction has a lot more to do with the little things. Let’s learn how to embrace intentionality in Small Things, Big Difference.
This series focuses on the importance of God’s Word in our lives. Make sure you check out the 31 day devotional that goes along with the series, Gateway Devotions: It Is Written.

Craig Groeschel is the founding and senior pastor of LifeChurch.tv, known for their innovative use of technology to spread the Gospel and as creators of the popular and free YouVersion Bible App. He has written several books. Today’s post will highlight 3 of them:
This book written for men “helps you uncover who you really are—a man created in the image of God with a warrior’s heart—and how to fight the good fight for what’s right. You will find the strength to fight the battles you know you need to fight—the ones that determine the state of your heart, the quality of your marriage, and the spiritual health of your family. Craig will also look at examples from the Bible, including our good buddy Samson. Yep, the dude with the rippling biceps and hippie hair and a thing for Delilah. You may be surprised how much we have in common with this guy. By looking at his life, you’ll learn how to defeat the demons that make strong men weak. You’ll become who God made you to be: A man who knows how to fight for what’s right. And don’t you dare show up for this fight unarmed. Learn how to fight with faith, with prayer, and with the Word of God It’s time to fight like a man. For God’s Sake, FIGHT.”
Are you tired of pretending? Living walled up? Going only skin deep? Craig Groeschel , pastor of the thriving LifeChurch.tv, sure was. And in his refreshingly raw and real book, he comes clean. Not that he has anything other than typical, human stuff to confess. Check out a few of his musings: I have to work hard to stay sexually pure, I hate prayer meetings, sometimes I doubt God , and I can’t stand a lot of Christians . Through his incredible honesty, he opens the door for you to follow suit. Are you ready to dig deep and let God shine through the genuine you? No more living just to please others. No more hiding. You can be who God called you to be. You can live for an audience of One.
“After over a decade of successful ministry, Craig had to make a painful self admission: although he believed in God, he was leading his church like God didn’t exist. To Christians and non-Christians alike, to the churched and the unchurched, the journey leading up to Groeschel’s admission and the journey that follows—from his family and his upbringing to the lackluster and even diametrically opposed expressions of faith he encountered—will look and sound like the story of their own lives. Now the founding and senior pastor of the multicampus, pace-setting LiveChurch.tv, Groeschel personal journey toward a more authentic God-honoring life is more relevant than ever. Christians and Christian Atheists everywhere will be nodding their heads as they are challenged to take their own honest moment and ask the question: am I putting my whole faith in God but still living as if everything was up to me?”
Your turn… If you have read any of these books by Craig, take a moment to share your thoughts.
Here are 3 sermon series you might enjoy:
Description: As Christians, did you know we can be demonically oppressed? Even though we’ve received complete salvation and restoration through Jesus, it’s possible for the Enemy to have a stronghold in areas that we leave open to him. In this new series, Free Indeed, Pastor Robert talks about the different kinds of doors we leave open to the Enemy, how we can close them and what it means to be truly free.
Description: This series reminds us of the importance of generosity and provides some practical ways we can be generous.
Description: What do you do to get through the day? We allow certain habits to help us deal with life, but sometimes the bad ones can become part of our identity in dangerous ways. It’s time to separate ourselves from our so-called Necessary Sins.

So that people far from God will be raised to life in Christ. That was the vision of Elevation Church when it began in 2006 with a group of eight families led by Pastor Steven Furtick. Over the past seven years, that vision has remained the same as our church has grown to seven locations in the Charlotte, NC area with multiple extension sites around the U.S. and Canada. You can learn more about Elevation Church here. Here are some links to some of their resources:
- Weekend Messages Go to the Sermons To Go Page for a variety of ways to watch messages.

Your turn… What are some churches you know of that share great resources.
LifeChurch.tv is one of the fastest growing and most innovative churches in America (and one of my favorite churches). One of the things I love most about LifeChurch.tv is how they give away free resources designed to help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus. Here are 3 in particular I think you will find helpful:
Chazown is the Hebrew word for vision, and it’s what God had in mind for you when you were created. The Chazown Experience is based on a book by Craig Groeschel, Senior Pastor of LifeChurch.tv. Chazown helps you discover and pursue your purpose—the reason God placed you on earth. Featuring video segments and step-by-step personal exercises, this free online life-planning experience is designed to help you find, name, and live out your unique vision – your Chazown.
A free, easy-to-use Bible study tool for anyone, anytime, anywhere designed to help you in the following ways:
- Get to know the Bible better by exploring its key stories, themes, and characters. Discuss unifying key beliefs of Christianity without getting tangled up in divisive beliefs. Allow Scripture to shape your thoughts and actions as you learn how Christ lived. Enrich relationships with other followers of Christ, and develop through the study of Scripture within community.
YouVersion is a simple, ad-free Bible that brings God’s Word into your daily life (a free Bible for your phone, tablet, and computer). See the related articles below for more details.
