Perry Noble is one of my favorite communicators. I have mentioned some of his resources in previous posts. Today I want to promote his new book along with two other resources by Perry you should check out:
“Stress, anxiety and worry are something we all struggle with at some point in our lives. But what about when it gets to a point where you feel completely overwhelmed?
In Overwhelmed, Perry Noble talks about his own struggle with depression and what he learned in overcoming the battle against stress and anxiety. His personal stories and Biblical teaching show us that God’s presence is greater than our problems and He will never leave us alone in our overwhelming circumstances. Perry provides honest scenarios and practical solutions on how to win the war against worry.
This is a book that can help you learn more about the character of God and His ability to help you through these difficult times in your life. You CAN overcome being overwhelmed!”
Erich’s note: I received an advanced copy of this book for signing up to be part of the “street team” to get the word out. I’ve really enjoyed it and found it be extremely practical. Make sure you but your copy now.
“Why is it that we trust Jesus with our salvation but never fully trust him with our lives? God longs to unleash his full measure of power in our lives to fill us with passion and purpose. But too often the things of our past—fear, anger, bitterness, worry and doubt—hold us back. Rather than focusing on the reality of who Christ is and what he has done for us, we allow ourselves to be identified by all the things we aren’t. But we are not who our past says we are, and we are not who the enemy says we are. We are who God and his Word say that we are.
Pastor Perry Noble challenges all followers of Christ to make a bold move by fully embracing the exciting adventure God has called us to. Are you ready to unleash all the life he has created you to live? Join Perry on this journey as he digs into the major barriers holding people back and shows how Jesus calls and equips his followers to experience a life most of us never dreamed possible.”
Erich’s note: Make sure you browse around Perry’s website to learn more about his blog, leadership podcast, sermons, and other resources he provides on a variety of topics (see the bottom of his page for the various topics).
Your turn… Take a moment to share how these resources have helped you.
